i got a summons for a deliquent medical bill i thought they could not sue you this is from a collection attrony. if i cant show up for court whats the worse that can happen. and can they legally take money from our checks. or refund checks

Why can't they sue you? If you owe it and it has not been paid, you can be sued. If you do not go to court, a default judgment can be entered against for the amount of the claim. Once they obtain a judgment they can garnish your wages and go after other non-exempt assets.
