Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I understand that I can be sued for credit card debt BUT that they cannot take from my disability which is my ONLY income. So what would they GET by suing me? Thank you.

They are not suppose to be able to take away your disability, but they can harass you until you give them your disability.

It is a subtle distinction, but they are in the business of collecting.
