Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

I worked for a friend on his website over 1 year ago.

He's now going to all extreme's to avoid paying me for the website I created for him 1 year ago. He's even filed a harassment charge what are my options?

The police in the town where he lives called me on Thursday -

YES I called lots of times - but sometimes if you have something important to say and there's no answer you call back! That was the situation. Now I've been told to not call or contact him vie e-mail ... How do I answer to this?

I told him - take down my work if you won't pay

I want a restraining order and a request for payment. On him, and his girlfriend and her daughter.

Then the police here where I live didn't want to file a report because he said there's nothing to file ... HOW DO I DEFEND MYSELF WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS?

Easy. Sue him. If it is less than $10,000 it would be in small claims.
