Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
In 2008, I was charged with misdemanor theft at my former employer and my first court date was December 2008. I was put on court supervision, had to complete 40 hours of community service and pay a fine. I went back to court and was released on April of 2009. My question is how long do I have to wait in order to get my arrest expunged from my record?

You must wait 5 years after the completion of court supervision to expunge.
