Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
In 2004 I was convicted of residential burglary and sentenced to DOC. IL. for 8 years. 2004 I was forced to plea guilty of assaulting a Chicago police officer and served 6 months again in DOC. IL. My concern is that I am back in work force searching for a job. Can I have my records sealed or even asponged as I have been a law abiding and respectful citizen.

In Illinois, felonies can not be expunged. Consider seeking a pardon from the Governor.
