Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
1st degree murder
my brother was murdered on sep.20th in chicago il.his murderer is in jail charged with 1st degree murder.he shot my brother in the face for giving his 16 year old girlfriend a simple hug the murderer is 34 years old.the weapon was never found but the girl witnesses everything and made a statement.they also found heroin.marijuana,cocaine, what will he he be charged with exactly and is there a chance that he could get out.

Good heavens. Sorry to hear this. Probably he will not get out, but you never know. You should contact a civil atty in IL to see if there is any chance of recovering damages in a lawsuit.
