Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
my 13 year old got caught shoplifting
do misunderstand. I'm glad he got caught. however, Macy's didn't want to envolve the police. now they demand that we pay $500.00 fine to them. this din't seem right to me. If they would have called the police and gone to court. he might have got probation. this is his first offence.
