27 year old murder case
In a murder case, when the judge cancells scheduled appearanced due to falling ill or other events and dates are continued, does the time between the dates count against the prosecution or the defendant when a demand for trial has previously been entered?

As long as the defense does not agree to a continuance, it counts against the prosecution.
