Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

My 16 year old son

My son and his golf team was creating pictures of each other with captions. One boys mother goes tothe school complaining until all the cell phone of the team members are serached for her son photo, none are found. Continues until my son is made to run 2 miles. The first meet the boys father follows my son through out the meet stands yards away glaring at him and the mother does drive by's slowwing down glaring at my son. Next practice the boy come the coarse and quits. Once my son and other team mates start to load up to leave my son discovers a 14'' deep gouge on the rear of his car. I did file a police report. Now the boys parents are stating they are going to sue. I do not know if they can or how to stop their harrassment to my son.

What are they going to sue him for? You said photos were not found. Do they have evidence of any photos? You may be able to get a restraining order against the parents or child, but their harassment would need to be extensive in order to prevail. I need more information.
