Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
17 Yr old and Disorderly Conduct
My Son was out the other night playing stupid kid tricks. Riding around squirting people with water from a squirt gun. He was driving and there was a juvinilein the back doing the squirt'n. A lady pressed charges and they arrested him for Disorderly Conduct (Par 5/26-1(a) (1), Chap 720 ILCS). He's a good kid and has never been in any kind of trouble before (not even a traffic ticket). He's planning to go on to college then not sure what he wants to do from there.
I'm wondering how this could effect him in the future and if we should contact a Lawyer or just go to court and plead stupidity. Thanks!
