Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
i am 25yr old a father with a quick question !!!!can i get a misdeamenor for taking a gun away from someone after they fired it into the air at my residene? I had this problem since january...but when cops came iinto my home they found gun but three other individuals in my house. i have a clean background and in school to become a police officer!!!! what should i do!!!!!

As of now, I am not clear as to what you are charged with. UUW? Possession of a firearm without FOID? My advice would be to hire an attorney to review the facts of the case since it sounds as if you are not the proper person to be charged in this incident.
