Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Accidental injury/death
My boyfriend is charged with accidental injury/death. Im the victim and I didnt want him to get in trouble. I didnt write a statement or press charges but he still has a warrant. What do we do? By the way -the injury was a bit of road rash on my back. And he is on parole. No other injuries. Thank you!

Re: Accidental injury/death
If you are the victim and do not want charges to be pressed, then the lawsuit will likely not go through. I am a little fuzzy on the details based on your post, but I am happy to talk to you about your case. Please feel free to give us a call.
