Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I have been accused of indecent exposure and trespassing on a college campus. Three witnesses have identified me in one incidence as the perpetrator. I did not do this. I have nothing on my record ever. I have never been accused of anything like this.
I was in a 7/11 store on campus, which is a city campus making a purchase when two campus security officers came in and grabbed me, took me outside, accused me of masturbating in front of a college dormitory nearby. They had three witnesses identify me in a "show-up" all three at the same time. I was arrested, charged and now have to got to court. I have a lawyer who has suggested that I consider a plea bargin, but I don't want to. I didn't do this. Still they have three witnesses. I have witnesses who can account for where I was at different times before the incidence. One problem is that I have not been given the time of occurence.
When the campus security police arrested me that punched me in the testicles, put a tazer gun on my leg and said they would love to use it on me. They decided my guilt before they even talked to me.
What are my best options.
