Anything is possible, but you haven't provided enough information for an attorney to be able to provide much of an answer. Obviously, it is a good thing that the defendant has no criminal record. But, it is very important to know exactly where the case is pending and exactly what the facts are. Your husband obviously needs the very best criminal defense attorney he can afford. I have been handling criminal cases in Missouri and Illinois for thirty years, and I would be happy to offer him a free telephone consultation if he is not already represented by legal counsel.
