Aggravated unlawful use of weapon

Hit landscaping in IL (live in IN) & kept driving with two flat tires & smoke from hood. Suspicion of intoxication. Citation for failure to slow to avoid a crash. Searched car- loaded .38 gun under seat (not registered). Failed sobriety tests at police station. BAC .06 (also on prescribed antidepressants that make me tired & don't remember any of this). $4,000 bond- paid $400 bail. Charged with aggravated use of unlawful weapon (Chpt 720 ILCS Act 5/ 24-1.6 a 1 3 A) not DUI. Two previous OWI's in Indiana. Also one reduced to a wreckless so really 3 before this incident. Hearing 7-23-07. No jail please?? Thanks

Though you have a serious charge and some driving history, if you have no other criminal history there is a possibility of probation for this case. Please contact our office to discuss your matter further.
