Aggrevated Asault

TO keep it short two of the neighbor kids have been jumping on my child on a regular basis. About 2 weeks ago, I went to talk to their Mom as usual when on e of the kids jumped out from around th ecorner an rared up on my child as a result I put my arm around the child shoulder but he must

of turned as I did and the palm of my hand hit his mouth so I got Notice to appear as his Mom pressed charges. This had been brewing as a result of my husband and I not letting her use our phone to chase her boyfriend down I believe as before this she had always aske what was up? Not that I put my hands on th echild before this I wnat to know how to handle this Thank you

You will have to appear in court and defend yourself - you should hire an attorney and if you cannot afford one, the court will give you a public defender. Stay away from the other family in the meantime so as not to aggravate the situation.

At this point, make sure you don't have any contact with the child or the child's parents. You simply need do vigorously defend yourself in court through an attorney. Feel free to call us if you want to inquire further.
