Arrested but never charged
ok so my question is this, i was arrested for supposedly possesion of a controlled substance but released and never charged, I am currently on court supervision, completing my community service. Will this effect me when i go back to my Return Court date?

Hello. Under the law, a police officer can detain you for 48 hours without placing you under arrest. Since you were not charged, but were released, in my opinion, you did not violate your court supervision. If you have an attorney, tell him or her about this incident immediately. If you are not represented, you should retain an attorney as soon as possible to represent you.
