Assault and batttery on a police officer
What is the jail time. Not aggervated battery i heard that was a different class with different jail time. Please i need ths information soon.

I believe that battery on a police officer is a class 1 felony, aggravated battery. That is 4 to 15 years in prison. Sometimes, if there is no injury, it is charged as a misdomeanor. That is up to 364 days in county jail. I believe this only happens in Cook County. All the other counties charge it as a felony. Please call for a free consultation.
