Aggravated battery is a Class 1 felony 4-15 years. Do not assume that you will be found guilty simply because the complaining witnesses against you are police officers. Discuss your trial options with your attorney. In July I represented a client charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, the jury found my client not guilty.

This could adversly effect your parole. Aggravated Battery to a police officer is a class 1 felony, carrying 4 to 15 years in prison. If this is your third class 2 or better, you are facing extended term of 6 to 30 years. I have been a criminal defense lawyer for 28 years. Please call for a free consultation.
