What happens when your attorney tells you he appeared for you, charges you for that appearance and then you find out there is a warrant out for your arrest for not appearing?

It sounds like there is a lack of communications between you and your attorney. You should contact that attorney and try to a) quash the warrant and b) resolve the lack of communication between you and your attorney.

Mr. Bhatt's answer is the best choice-I agree. However, if find out for sure that your atty billed you but did not appear, but keeps claiming he did, remind the atty about tha bar assn's grievance committee, malpractice, etc. Also, utilize that info with the Court to quash the warrant.
