I believe that bail bondsmen are illegal in Illinois. If you car is worth more than $7500 you can try getting an auto loan on the car.

Bail bondsmen were eliminated in Illinois over 30 years ago. My question is: is the bail $75,000, for which you must post 7,500? Or is it $7,500, for which you must post $750? Whatever the dollar amount, you only need to post 10%. Unless the judge specifically states "cash" bond, for which you pay 100%.
