Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
my boyfriend has a warrant because he missed court due to lack of transportation from chicago to dekalb. His court was getting sentence for domestic but he missed court. however, he is going to turn himself in next week. what are his options? im worried. what is going to happen to him? thank you!

First, I would have him contact the lawyer who was originally representing him. If he does not want to use that attorney he should hire another lawyer who may be able to negotiate a plea agreement, assuming he still wants to plead guilty. Call me with any questions.
