I'm a first time offender & was busted with less than 10 grams. What kind of time I'm looking at.

I believe that the penalty is 30 days to 6 months in jail, and or a fine and costs. But, you do not have to plead guilty. Especially if you are actually a first time offender, it is possible for you to get supervision or deferred sentencing or some other disposition which will avoid you serving any time. 30 days to 6 months. Get an attorney - they can help you possibly plead to a lesser offense or otherwise.

This is a Class B misdemeanor and is punishable by 30 days to 6 months in jail. If you had more than 10 grams it is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by 6 months to a year in jail. Please call us if you are interested in representation in this matter.
