Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
if you get caught with mairijuana and you only have a gram and the police put that you have 2.5 to 10 grams.what should i do?can i get the case thrown out?

You need to hire an attorney. The attorney will check to see exactly what ordinance or statute you are charged with violating. Usually, it will make no difference if you have one gram or a litle more than one gram. If you want to testify at trial that you only had one gram, maybe you should consider giving up the weed.
