Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
What is the charge?
I live in CA but was charged in IL. All I have is a paper listing charges with a series of numbers. How do I find out what, exactly, I'm charged with? Can I delay my hearing date, if so, how?

Re: What is the charge?
yes, you would definitely need to correctly identify the actual charges being brought forth against you before an attorney can give you proper guidance or defense strategies (procedurally or substantively).

You can look up the charges yourself at the Il.gov web site, or call or eamil me with the charges.
