I've been charged with felony theft from my employer of 2500.00. I've never been arrested before. I have a very clean record. What do you think will happen?

First of all, you should hire the best criminal defense attorney you can afford. the attorney will be able to advise you on your situation. The attorney will also be able to obtain copies of whatever "proof" the state's attorney has against you. If the state is able to make their case, the attorney should be able to negotiate a plea bargain under which you may avoid incarceration and also possibly avoid a conviction for the crime being entered on your criminal record.
