Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
No charges pressed.. can they change mind?
i sent some emails to my sister annonymously not threatening mostly name calling and such. It was in bad taste and got out of hand. Anyway she went to the police who said it was a misdemeanor (cyber stalking) and they questioned me I admitted to it and she told them she did not want to press charges or have me arrested. Can she change her mind? and how long does she have? I was not arrested and the officer said there is nothing on my record. Please help
