Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
check signing
A check was recieved in my Grandsons name, he is 3 yrs old and in my care. There was no number or a letter to tell me what this was for. I signed my name and put below it in c/o and put his name and used the money toward him. It turns out the company that sent the check made it out to him in error, it was to be in my daughters name for a travel re-imbursement, can I be charged for any thing by doing this????

Re: check signing
Hello. In my opinion you did not intentionally do anything wrong. Certainly your daughter can clear up any misunderstanding. Will be happy to discuss this further if you have any more questions concerning this matter.
