city ordinance violation
my 18 year old is charged with illegal consumption.she blew .019 on portable breathalyzer.she plead not guilty.was there another test to be preformed or is the breathalyzer admissable in illinois?

Breathalizers are admissible in evidence in Illinois. It's results are pretty much taken as gospel. If you have thousands of dollars to use on your daughter's defense, hire a lawyer and then insist that he hire an expert witness to attack the validity of the breathalizer. By the way, since she's 18 the law is zero tolerance. It doesn't matter if she registered .0001, she'll be found guilty. The best advice I can give you is to hire a lawyer. Good luck.
