Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Can My Class 4 felony be reduced to misdemenor

My senior year of high school I drew a gun on the bathroom wall of my high school with a pencil. I was givin a Class 4 FELONY (criminal defacement of school Property), I was sentenced to 2 yrs probation, after serving 2 yrs of this sentence my probation was extended 6 mo for missing appts. But again i missed an appt. I served 90 days in county jail and was dismissed from probation. This felony follows me every where making in impossible to support my Family and I, coupled with the fact that I was also expelled from school for this action, so i have no high school diploma, iF I could take care of these two things my boat would sail alot easier, so if there is any way to lower this conviction any way at all I would love to give it a try.

It's too late to lower the felony conviction to a misdomeanor. That should have been done BEFORE any trial or plea agreement. You should have brought that up with your lawyer a long time ago. You have to live with it now.
