class 3 felony theft charges IL?

I was charged a class 3 felony theft, after using my ex employer fedex account number for 8 shipments & total overall cost of 352us. Never received any notification or letter demanding payment. Over the weeked, I was arrested and spent time in jail. First time offence. Clear records, no DUIs, nothing at all. am I going to jail? I am desperate and afraid of the charges. Never had any problem with the law and I was completely ignorant about my rights when the police was questioning the issue. I did sign the miranda warning under the understanding that I was an acknowledgement of my rights rather than a waiver. The detective impply and I quote '' those are your rights''. NEVER mentioned that I was waiving my right by signing the form. In conclusion, it seems that the detective needed to do an arrest and she misslead me. Now I am facing very serious charges and vey afraid of the consequences. Thank you.

You must hire a lawyer immediately. So far, you have hurt yourself because of your lack of knowledge of the law. You didn't say so, but I'm assuming that you gave an incriminating statement.
