class a misdemanor retail theft

I have plead guilty to receive a class a misdemeanor retail theft charge. I am in my first year of college and was wondering what sort of job opportunities I am going to have with this Albatross around my neck. In other words, when I am finished with my general studies, what higher education should I look into that won't mind if you accidentally walked out of a store with things in your pockets?

That is a question for the educators to answer. However, if you received supervision you can expunge the record 5 years after the supervision is up. Good luck.
