Can i get a confession vacated without going to trial? I confessed to a crime to keep someone out of trouble. Now i wish i haven't done that

Need more information to answer your question. Have you been arrested? If so, whether you can take back your confession depends upon whether your Miranda rights were violated. You can find more info about Miranda online or on my firm's website. If you haven't been arrested, you could face charges for obstruction of justice. You should hire an attorney before you talk to the police or prosecutor.
