Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
conflict of interest
My daughter has been sexually abused by her father and we are being represented by the states attorneys offive in Il. The judge that represented me in my childsupport for my child is now representing him in the case. Is this just not ethical for attorneys or is there a law that says it is a conflict of interest. If he is found not guilty (praying not) Who will the attorney have to rep then if he wants his visitations back, me or him so if civil doesnt conflict with criminal how does it not then

Re: conflict of interest
I don't quite understand your question. You should speak to the State's Attorney about this issue immediately if you believe a conflict of interest may be present.
