Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
i was convicted of a felony 2 years ago on a possession of an unlawful controlled substance.i went on online and my case isTERMINATE SENTENCE - SATISFACTORILY ans of 7/1/2010. i did not serve time just got probation but i was wondering if there is still any way to become a police officer with this in my past.

Hello. To clear your record of this charge it will be necessary to seek a pardon from the governor. However, it is my understanding that police departments can still research a person's background.
