1 Answer from Attorneys
Federal courts obtain jurisdiction when issues arise before the court involving questions of federal law. More directly, you would have to be in violation of some federal law and the violation noted by a federal agency before you would be on the threshold of jurisdiction. It's up to the agency to invoke federal jurisdiction by indicting you.
