Court ordered DNA sample
If a judge orders a dna sample in criminal case does the defense have to wait till the result comes back regardless of the delay with the lab?

Sppedy trial delays concerning DNA test results are addressed in the Illinos Code of Criminal Procedure, 5/103-5. The State may continue the case "for not more than 120 days." You should discuss this issue with your attonrey.
