Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I am on court supervision for a cannabis charge. I recently got a traffic ticket for speeding. If I plead guilty to the ticket will that affect the court supervision?

Technically, the State's Attorney could violate your supervision for breaking the law (speeding). Taking care NOT to break the law in any capacity is one of the terms of your supervision, for which you can be violated (revoked supervision or additional terms).
Usually, in Lake County, IL, an individual is not violated for speeding tickets.
