credit card borrowing

my good friend got charges pressed against her for borrowing her grandmas credit card.

im not sure of all the details, but i was told the card was declined and she was told that charges were being pressed.

is there any way to find out who is pressing charges, and how can they do this?

Tell your friend to hire a lawyer for "borrowing" a credit card on which she presumeably is not an authorized user.

By the way, another term commonly used for "credit card borrowing" is theft.

If your friend really borrowed the card with the owner's permission, then your friend has nothing to worry about. In any other event, the law enforcement authorities may decide to prosecute your friend. An attorney could check with the courts or with the state's attorney's office in the county this took place to see if there is anything going on.
