Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
the crime is retail theft
The security guard had stopped me and asked if I had taken some kind of vitamins I said no.I let him look thru my purse.Mean while he is looking I guess around the store I am being held for an hour or moreI called my husband he came he asked them what the deal was if they were calling the police or releasing me the guard was very hateful answering calling some one from the store 2 or 3 times.Meanwhile I give my husband my rings purse cell to go on home with our children,I had our elder crippled neighbor with me we had a quite confusing order we were trying to separate all of our stuff.He was there when they asked me if I had the vitamins which they never found on me Now I guess the states attorney is picking up the charges
