If you had a criminal conviction on your name but you were not the actual person and the courts knew and caught the person and released you but never took the conviction off your name how do you get it off.

I have dealt with this issue before. In order to clear your record, you must file an expungement with the chief judge. With an issue like this you will have to go before the chief judge and establish that it was in fact not you who was arrested but it was under your name. Were your charges dismissed? Did you plead guilty?

I would need to know the details about your case before I could advise you more accurately.

Please call my office at 773-791-9682 to discuss your matter.

Good luck
