my son was issued citations for driving an unregistered vehicle, no proof of insurance and driving on a suspended license. he faces a trial in may. he never recieved a notice his license was suspended. doesn't the state have to notify a person that their license is suspended?

The state sends notice to a driver at the last address the secretary of state has on record. If the person has moved and not notified the secretary of the move, they will not receive the notice. For more information on Illinois suspended licenses, please visit:
