i got a aressted for aggavated battery and the victim is saying he dont want to prusue any charges does that mean that they will drop the case , and the person who wrote the statement, who wasnt there but took the guy to the hospital said shes not going to court becasue she said the cops told her what to write in the statment. because the guy was intoxicated and on pain killers , and wasnt even suppost to be drinking or anything because of court stuff

The State can pursue the charges even if the complaining witness, or victim, does not want to.
