Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Hi I know someone who just got took into custody for felony forgery...I think the check was $2000 and this is a first time offender..what can possibly happen in bond court?

The court sets a bond sufficient to assure the defendant's appearance in court whenever required. When the bond is posted the defendant is released from custody pending the final dispositionof the charge. It is very important to have an attorney at this stage and throughout the legal proceedings.
