Deceptive Practice
In Illinois under the Deceptive Practice Act, can they make you take a class on Deceptive Practice, and pay for it, if it is a first offense?

This is possible, however
I suggests you get a lawyer
and ask for what is called
a 402 conference. This is
a procedure that lets you
know what sentence the court
will impose if you plea
bargain.
