Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

help please

i am in a deep sititation i am being charged with grand theft auto and possesion of stolen property. The judge said i would have to come up with 1500 dollars to give to the prosecutor. They gave me 3months to come up with the money, i dont have the money so what should i do?

I don't understand why you have to give the prosecutor $1500.00, unless it's for retitution. You need a lawyer to represent you. Are you being represented by the public defender? If so, seek his advice.
