Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

I need a detailed answer. Im 18 and my girlfriend is 16. we did have sexual intercourse and yes the age of consent is 17 for my state, however the UCMJ says 16. Her mother and i had an agreement that if i stopped sneaking around her back and having sex with my girlfriend then she would not involve the police, and so i did agree. we have not had sex since but my girlfriend may be pregnant. would her mother be allowed to break the verbal agreement that we had even though i did not break the terms?

Yes. Why would the law allow two people to agree for the law to be broken and nothing done about it? That particular law is in place to help protect little girls who are too young to legally consent to sexual intercourse from people like you who are old enough to act responsably and obey the law but choose not to do so. I personally hope that you are not prosecuted for violating the law, because your child will need a father who will help raise, protect and pay for the child.
