Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
discrimation
Would it be considered discrimation if you were working at a job for almost a year and a half as a temp as you were offered to be hired on - they wanted to do a criminal background check and you told them that you had a felony conviction - they then said that they would have to let you go after you were working there as a good employee for a temp agency and never caused any problems

Re: discrimation
Hello. This is not discrimination.
An employer can fire you
for a felony conviction that the
employer did not know about. However,
you should seek a pardon from the governor. This is a real possibility.
I will be happy to discuss this with you further and in more detail.
