Re: domestic battery
Domestic battery is a class "A" misdemeanor. It carries a possible 364 days in jail and/or a fine up to $2,500.00 All domestic battery cases also carry mandatory criminal convictions, that is there is not court supervision available. In the city of Chicaog, all cases are heard at the courthouse at 13th and Michigan. Our firm has an office just south of that court building, and we handle domestic battery defense regularly. If you have further questions, try Brad Levison at our 13th and Michigan office 312-493-1333.
