Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Domestic Battery (1st offense)
My live-in girlfriend of 8years and I got into an argument that got out of hand, she called the police at the neighbors apartment, they came and arrested me, I have been charged w/ Domestic Battery, but the misdemeanor complaint report is inacurate. after being bailed out I'm back home.
How do I fix this? What would be the possible punishment for pleading not guilty or guilty?
1st offense. Thanx
